Winter Love(Chapter 4)

"Alright then...I have bought butter,fish,chicken,green beans,and drinks. Now the last item will be garlics."Said Jamie,looking at the item list for the Christmas Party will held tonight. Actually,he was in the shopping mall near Burgess Park. Today was a last day for the people to make final preparation to celebrate Christmas. So,the mall getting more crowded than before. The stocks quickly last.

Once he done bought all the stuffs,he headed to the counter to make payment. The cashier was liked very polite. She said to him,"Wow,you bought a lot of goods...I think it's for Christmas Party this night,isn't it?"

"Yeah...it's for tonight. Our tradition,right?"Jamie nodded.

"Sure it is....I also planning to hold a Christmas Party...but,i'm still working tonight."

"I'm sorry for you,miss...but..I can wish you..Merry Christmas...and I hope you're always happy as you are now.."Jamie understood her feelings. But he made her happy by wishing her Merry Christmas.

"Aww..thank you very much,kid...I am so flattered with you generousity."

After he paid all the stuffs,he took a trolley and placed all the plastic bags on the trolley. He pulled the trolley and walked around the mall. Suddenly,he approached a jewellery shop that located two lots from the grocery. He decided to visit the shop. He parked the trolley beside the shop and walked inside.

He looked all the jewelleries. All the jewelleries were very interesting. Jamie wanted to buy a present for Jack. As his birthday present and at the same time as a Christmas Present. He also hoped that present will be his first present as a lover. Once he looked through all the jewelleries,suddenly he got an interest toward the silver ring. That ring worth 300 USD. To him,that was very expansive. But for Jack,he will to sacrifice his savings to buy it. So,he bought it and that ring was placed in a red box.

'Jack...this is for you...I love you so much...'Jamie whispered in his heart.

"Right...this ring...will be our sign of the new relationship."Said Jamie as he put the red box in his pocket. Then,he walked back to his house.

"Jamie!!!"Mrs.Bennett called her son. Jamie walked downstairs and met her.

"Yes,mom?What can I help for you?"

"Our party will start from 10 p.m tonight....so,I have invited all our relatives...so,you don't forget your promise for tonight...okay?"

When she said 'tonight',he suddenly thinking of Jack. A red blush appeared on his both cheeks. Then,he replied,"O-Okay,mom...I remember that promise..."

Mrs.Bennett smiled as she continued making final preparation for the party tonight together with her another son,Sophie Bennett. Mr.Bennett will returned home very soon. So,Jamie went back into his room and grabbed his cell phone and tried to contact Jack.

Jack was sitting on the chair while he leaning his head on his both arms upon his study desk. He was staring toward Jamie's photo. He smiled and sighed alone. He said to the his crush's photo,"Jamie...my love,Jamie Bennett...my only love one,Jamie Bennett...my secret crush..Jamie Bennett.....Jamie..you're my heart...you're my feeling...you're my life..you're my everything..I love you so much,Jamie....I want to be with you forever...I hope,the present that I bought just now...will be the most meaningful present ever..."

Still staring at the photo frame,he continued,"Jamie...Jamie...I hardly love you...I really love you..."

Before he drifted into sleep,suddenly his cell phone was ringing. He quickly got up from the chair and quickly grabbed his phone on his jacket pocket. He was shocked when he saw the phone screen,it's Jamie Bennett was calling him. He pressed green pressed button.

Jack-Oh...Hey,Jamie!!!

Jamie-Hey,Jack!!How you're doing?

Jack-I'm fine...you know..I've just got very restful sleep. Heheh...

Jamie-I'm glad,Jack...

A silent moment between them both...

Jack-Uhh...Jamie?

Jamie-(Silenced)

Jack-Jamie!!!??

Jamie-Uh!!Yeah!!

Jack-Are you okay?

Jamie-I'm okay...just a little fuzzy..

Jack-You're always fuzzy,Jamie...you know that?

Jamie-Yeah..hehe...sometimes I am a blurr person...

They were chatting so long. They laughed,and laughed each other...

Jamie-Meet me at Burgess Hill,tonight...12:00 a.m...don't be late..

Jack-What for?

Jamie-I have something special...for you...

Jack suddenly blushed. He thought,'What?Something special...for me?'

Jack-O-Okay...I will not be late..I promise...

Jamie-You better be,Jack Frost...see you tonight...

Jack-Yeah..see you tonight...

They hung up the phone. Jack stared at the phone,where he put Jamie's photo as a wallpaper. Jack was very hardly fell in love with Jamie.

"Something special...."

The moon was shining very brightly. The snow still covering the Burgess ground. The people started to leave the town and returned to their respective houses. The town getting quieter but the christmas decoration around the Burgess made the Christmas more enliven. But some of the streets,a few party were held,joined by some workers and street performers.

At Jamie's Residence,Mrs.Bennett,Mr.Bennett and Sophie were still busy with the preparation for the party tonight. Jamie was still on his room. He was wearing a winter coat and a scarf spinning around his neck. Then,he smiled at the photo of Jack Frost.

He said,"Jackson Overland Frost...it's time....for us to be together forever..."

He left the room and went downstairs. He met with his little sister and his parents.

"Well,Jamie...don't forget to bring your boyfriend to this party tonight...We are so excited to see your new boyfriend."Mr.Bennett started.

"Yeah...me too...I can feel that your boyfriend will be handsome and sexy."Mrs.Bennett also agreed.

"Big brother..I wish you good luck with your relationship with your new life companion."Sophie also did not forget to give encouragement to his brother. Jamie smiled and felt honored with the encouragement and a new spirit from his family members.

"Thank you,mom..thank you,dad..and thank you very much,Sophie...I promise I won't disappoint you all..."Then,Jamie stepped forth to the front door.

"Good luck!!"

The brunette smiled at them before he finally left the house. Once he left,he headed to the Burgess Hill,where Jack was waiting there. He decided to come little late so he can made surprise for him.

"Where is he?Why he could be so late?"Jack felt concerned when Jamie still didn't show up. He was sitting on the bench that facing toward the city. The view of Burgess from the top of the hill was so beautiful. He just sat there while waiting for Jamie. 

10 minutes later,Jamie still didn't show up. Jack decided to get up from the bench and stood on the top of the hill. He don't wanted to look the view of the city but he looked up towards the moon.

"So beautiful....very beautiful....the shining moon...so bright and beautiful..."Mumbled Jack.

"The moon was shining brightly like Jamie's face. His face was so beautiful....I wish I am a star that will always staying beside the moon."

Suddenly....

"You're right...the moon was shining so brightly...and beautiful..."Jamie appeared beside him. Jack shocked a while,"Jamie...you finally arrived..."

"Heh.."He turned to Jack with a smiling face. Jack blushed a little.

"Jamie...you're late for ten minutes,you know that?"Jack expressed his disappointment. But Jamie still smiling and that made Jack felt annoying.

"I'm sorry...but..I really want to come late...."

"Why?"The white haired boy confused.

"I just...want to surprise you...like just now..."The brunette chuckled.

"Jamie...."

"Jack....I have something for you...very special...your Christmas present."Jamie started to blush.

"What is that present?Tell me..."Jack seemed very excited. Jamie giggled at his childish behaviour.

"Close your eyes,Jack..."Jamie told him to close his eyes but he seemed refusing.

"But...."

"Just...close your eyes...."The brunette also seemed insisting. Jack gave up and closed his eyes.

Jamie felt hesitated to do next step. But he thought,this was his chance to express his feelings to him. So,he leaned closer to him and began pressing the lips together. A first kiss from Jamie. Then,when the kiss broke,Jack opened his eyes,first reaction that shown was...shocked...

"Jamie...is that mean...that..you're..."

"Yes,Jack Frost....I love you...I love you since our first meet. When you showed up for the first time. I felt something strange in myself. It seemed that I felt some feelings toward you. And..when I studied...I finally...found love in myself..towards you. I know you feel strange right now...but...at least...I have told my feelings to you..."He began to explain and express his feelings as he looked down and cried.

Jack smiled after that. He lifted Jamie's chin and then,he kissed him. They were kissing again. To Jamie,he was shocked that he kissed him back. Jamie just let himself enjoyed with his boyfriend's kiss. When they broke the kiss,Jack said,

"Oh,Jamie..I've been waiting all the time for this moment...where we will be together...and you will be my boyfriend...Jamie...yes,Jamie..I am also love you...I love you too,Jamie...looks like we shared same story...I also fell in love with you since we're met at the class for the first time. But,when the day passed the day,my feelings toward you became more stronger. Jamie...listen to me...I need you in my life...I really need you...to complete my life...I can't live without you...I want to share everythin g with you. Through all the time,I am always imagined about you. I am always mumbling about you...everytime I prayed that you'll be mine someday. And...I didn't expect that...tonight is the time,where my prayer granted. You're right,Jamie...My wish will be granted in this faithful day."

With a lovely moment,they were hugging each other. Jack said as he weeping,"I love you,Jamie Bennett...I love you..."

"I love you too,Jackson Overland Frost...from now on,we will be together forever."

As they released the hug,Jamie suddenly thought about another present.

"Hey,Jack...I forgot...I have another presents for you..."Said Jamie while grabbing something on his pocket.

"You have?What is it,this time?"

The brunette took out a red box from his pocket and gave to him. "Try to open it,Jack..."

When Jack opened the box,he was very shocked when he saw a beautiful silver ring. He said to Jamie with a refusing voice,"You know,as your friend...I can't accept this present because...It is very expansive...."

Jamie smiled,"Then don't accept it....". Jack confused when he did say like that.

"What do you mean,Jamie?"

"At least...accept it..as a..boyfriend...Happy birthday,Jack Frost..."

Jamie took that ring from the box and slipped it on his boyfriend's sweet finger. "I hope...this ring...will be our sign of the new relationship..."

Jack is very happy that Jamie willing to buy an expensive ring simply because of his love. Wet tears flowed across his cheek, but he also smiled. 

Then he hugged him and said, "I love you,Jamie...."

"I love you too,Jack...Happy faithful birthday."

After they hugged each other, Jamie took his hand and said, "Let's go to my house, Jack. My family is having a Christmas party. And, my family wants to see you."

Jack nodded and then they both got up from the bench and headed back to his home holding hands with each other. They both finally has changed from being friends to lovers.

Once arrived at the residence of Jamie, seems a lot of people are partying in the house. Jamie said to his new boyfriend, "Come on, Jack ..."

They both went into the house. People didn't care about the presence of both of them. That made both of them more easily. Then, Jamie told him to wait a moment.

"Wait here, Jack ... I want to call my family members. I want to do as a surprise to them."

Jack whiffed as he nodded. Jamie headed to the living room, where his parents, and Sophie was laughing with each other.

"Mom, Dad ... Sophie .. I'm back .."

"Oh, Jamie ... you're home at last ... where your boyfriend?" Mrs. Bennett was pleased with the presence of his son.

Jamie replied with a smile, "Let me call him ..."

"Jack!!! Come here!"

Soon, Jack came. They were shocked when they see their child's new boyfriend. Sophie just dumbfounded look that guy.

"Uhh, hi ... you must be Mr. Bennett and Mrs. Jack Frost Bennett ... my ... my boyfriend of Jamie. I'm glad to meet you all. Forgive me if my presence here makes you unhappy. "Jack introduced himself.

Mrs. Bennett like to scream but managed to control herself, "Oh god ... you are so handsome, Jack. ... You are so charming and sexy!! .. Oh .. I like want to faint ..."

Mr. Bennett also gave the same response, "Jack ... you are so handsome ... charming and sexy ... welcome to our family .. we would be delighted for you to be her new boyfriend. Starting today, call us mother and father. you are part of this family. "

Mr. and Mrs. Bennett embraced Jack at the same time. Jamie just smiled at them very happy to have Jack in the family. Then, Sophie asked to her brother.

"brother Jamie, where have you got this handsome guy?"

"At first, this is my new friend. He's a new student at my school. He is an English-American descendant."

"Oh, then I understood. Cause, I heard him speak with a different accent. Now I know that he has English blood., However, you are so lucky. I wish I was you, but I'm still proud of myself."

Jamie smiled at the praise he received from his sister. Then, Jamie brought Jack to his room.

"Jamie ... I forgot something ..."

"What is it?"

"I want to give you something. As a Christmas gift."

Jack took something from his pocket and the gift is a red box. Jamie surprised a moment.

"Take ... accept it as a reward from me for our relationship."

When Jamie opened the box, it is a silver ring. Same shape as the ring he bought at the mall yesterday.

"Jack ... we have the same ring ..."

Jack took the ring and slipped the ring into his lover ring finger. Jamie was happy and sad. Jack laughed for a moment, "Hey, do not cry, Jamie .... I will always be at your side forever. With the rings we wear together. Our love will never break forever."

"Jack Frost ... I really love you ..."

"I love you .... so be my boyfriend forever."

Jamie hugged him as he cried. He replied, "Of course, Jack. I will always love you forever., And I was ready to head into the realm of a new romance."

Then, they both lie on the bed. Jamie lie on the chest of his boyfriend. He could listen to the gentle heartbeat. Soon, they both already drifted into a beautiful sleep.
